Kalmar lift trucks, part of Cargotec, raise productivity for La Cisa, Italy

Kalmar Lift trucks Cargotec Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has gained an order to supply six lift trucks to major materials handling specialist, La Cisa Trasporti Industriali, based in Bergamo, the heart of industrialized Italy.

The state of the art “G” generation machines are scheduled for delivery between April and June 2014 and will expand La Cisa’s rental fleet, particularly those serving customers in the steel production industry. Roberto Provenzi, spokesperson at La Cisa, commented: “Once again Kalmar has provided the optimum solution to meet our needs. We had to select the best equipment to raise productivity for our customers and following rigorous trials we had no doubts about choosing Kalmar.”

Kalmar DCG160-12 provides outstanding performance and durability through its high specification. The majority of the units will be dedicated to handling steel pipe and I am confident they’ll be more than up to the job. Two of the machines have been upgraded from the standard 16 tonnes to 17 tonnes capacity, which ensures we can maintain high productivity across all applications.
